We take the south access (route 68) through Cerrillos, la Merced and el Carril, then we make a turn and take route 33 to the west to travel through the Quebrada del Escoipe, las Goteras, the Giant’s Cave, the Condoreras (condor nests area), la Cuesta

del Obispo, the Enchanted Valley to reach the Mill Stone, where we will leave the subtropical forest to drive in the Puna desert: National Park los Cardones, the recta de Tin Tin (traced by the Incas), Payogasta town and finally reach Cachi. We have lunch in town; we visit archaeological museum, central square, church, etc. and then we get back to Salta through la Cuesta del Obispo.
