It is a two days tour, driving through an edge road in the mountain, we get to el Carmen first and then to San Salvador de Jujuy doing the circuit of Humahuaca canyon detailed before, after lunch we drive to Iruya through Iturbe 4200 mts.a.s.l. on this way we can see

ancient Inca method for growing vegetables in the mountains. We spend the night in Iruya and the next day we drive down to Purmamarca (Seven Color Mountain), to drive up the Lipan slope to reach Salinas Grandes (salt flats), where we learn about salt extraction and visit a restaurant built up with salt blocks. After Salinas Grandes we head for San Antonio de los Cobres where we visit the town and stop for lunch, and then we take route 51 to leave for Salta visiting Santa Rosa de Tastil, where we stop at an archaeological museum and indian ruins. After that we drive through el Alfarcito, Ingeniero Maury, Chorrilllos, la Quebrada del Toro, campo Quijano and finally back to Salta.
